Septum, nostril, high nostril piercing are possible at home with all the precision and proper guidance. Let us start with the ideas to pierce your nose at home.

    1. Nose Piercing with an Earring:

An earring could be used as a tool for nose piercing. Keep in mind to take a peaky front earring with a firm grip. Please bear in mind that it is going to pain a little but it’s bearable as many others have done piercing. To start with the process follow the below-given steps

Step 1: Clean the nose skin thoroughly.

Step 2: Mark the spot carefully where you need to pierce.

Step 3: Heat up the front of the earring to sterilize it properly.

Step 4: Place the sharp edge of the earring on the marked spot and press it firmly so that it can pierce your nose. You need to press a little hard to complete the process.

Step 5: Put on your nose pin/ring.

    Precautions after Piercing:

After piercing clean inside as well as outside the pierced nose area with a medicated swab. Perform this procedure two times a day. After 3 days start rotating the nose-pin slowly. Repeat this process for 8 days.

    2. Nose Piercing with Gun:

Self Nose Piercing Gun has been designed especially for nose piercing. This is the safest way to pierce the nose at home. These are one-time use and embedded with a built-in nose stud. You can buy a Nose piercing gun from Amazon from this link at $6.99

Step 1: Take a hollow needle and sterilize it.

    Precautions after Piercing:

After piercing avoid touching the face or pierced area as long as you can it will minimize the chances of germ transmission. Slight pain or itchiness will be there which will go away with time.

    4. Nose Piercing with Safety Pins:

This one is another way to pierce the nose at home. A sharp safety pin from one side is similar to nose piercing tools. Safety pins are the cheap alternative to nose piercing tools.

But not the very best option as after piercing taking off the safety pin and again putting in a pin in the freshly pierced hole is not a very smooth process to go through.

Step 1: Clean the nose skin.

Step 2: Sterilize the safety pin by dipping in the rubbing alcohol and then boiling it in water.

Step 3: Mark a dot exactly where you want to pierce your nose.

Step 4: Pinpoint the safety pin from the sharp edge on the mark.

Step 5: Use a piercing clamp to hold the desired pierced area. Press the safety pin carefully on the spot.

    Precautions after Piercing:

After using a safety pin calmly remove it and put on a nose pin. The nose area will be a bit swollen or look reddish. It will fade away with time.

    5. Nose Piercing with gold or silver tops/studs:

Gold and Silver tops/studs are also effective tools for nose piercing. Take a sharp needle-type instrument in which you can place those tops/studs. The benefit of using gold or silver stud is that it minimizes the chances of infection.

Step 1: Wash the face pat dry the full face. After piercing you should avoid touching the face and reduce the chances of germ transmission.

Step 2: Take a sterilized needle in which you can fit the tops/studs.

Step 3: Spot a mark on the nose where you want the piercing done.

Step 4: Keep the needle on the exact spot and press it in less time your pierced nose look is ready.

    Precautions after Piercing:

Refrain touching your nose again and again after piercing to avoid infection. You can use an antibacterial ointment (only if you get an infection) and apply it with the help of medicated swab on the pierced area.

    6. Nose Piercing with Surgical Stainless Steel:

The Surgical Stainless Steel is hypoallergenic, reasonably priced, and is a secure metal for curing an unsullied nose piercing. You can get this Surgical Stainless Steel from Amazon from this link at $10.99

You can also use tea tree oil or coconut oil to moisturize the area.
